King-sized bed in master bedroom, two double beds in second bedroom, two couches in living room which can each serve as a single bed, and for the outdoor sleeper, a hammock on the balcony.

Amenities:

Daily maid service, fully equipped kitchen, purified drinking water, hammocks and beach towels, ample parking, in-unit safe, phone/fax access in reception office, and a "library" of paperback novels. Akumal accommodations at their best!

And note a recent addition: Broadband internet access (WiFi) available throughout the Penthouse, including the balconies!

Location:

On the beach in Akumal's beautiful Half Moon Bay, site of some of the finest snorkeling on the coast. Within walking distance of Yal-ku lagoon, restaurants, dive shops, and local markets. The perfect location for Akumal accommodations.

During the summer turtle-nesting season (May - September), giant sea turtles come ashore right in front of The Reef to lay their eggs and dozens of hatchlings emerge to make their run to the sea. Not to be missed!
